Looking at the new TJ Unlimited. Does anyone have the good, bad or ugly on them?
Thinking about getting one. It reminds me of the cj-8 but with all the extras.

The only ugly thing about the unlimited it the top. That window looks real funky.

While I'm here whats with the full doors. Are they making 1/2 doors for this?

i think the unlimited looks pretty sweet with a lift and some big tires, but stock? i'm not so sure... it hasn't quite grown on me yet

I can see nothing wrong with them. Wheelbase is everything around here. If I were in the market, I would wait until they make the Rubicon version. Nevermind, I would get the most plain one they made and slap some one tons and a set of coilovers on it. That's just my style though.

Has anyone seen one with half doors? Can't get used to full doors.

The thing that really sucks about the Unlimited to me.........is that I don't own one.

I wish they would just drop the Rubicon package and make the D44s and Tcase optional on all models. I don't want a Rubicon, I just want the Rubicon axles in a regular base model Unlimited. Ultra low-range Tcase gears would be useless to me 95% of the time. I'd rather have the 2.6x:1 low range that comes standard.

Honestly I cant see Jepp making and unlimited with a rubicon package. As odd as it may sound. This jeep really isnt designed as a trail rig, although I'm sure it would VERY capable with some mods. This is another way for Jeep to sell the wrangler. It's designed as more of a daily driver. They fixed one of the main problems i heat people complain about, space. So i think you'll have to do your own mods. Otherwise its not a bad idea though. Even my father likes it.

Myself and jeepdude832 were told at Adams Jeep Jam that There will be a Unlimted Rubicon edition comming out soon by a Jeep rep.

If this is true its will prob be my next Jeep and it would be a serious rock crawling rig with the longer wheelbase
