Ok,after seeing several folks on here performing this low-buck modification,I decided to bite the bullet and do it today!I think it turned out great, and it cost less than 20 bucks-all I had to buy were razor blades,a compass, and some 80-grit sandpaper!I'm going to use some Krylon Fusion powder-coat in a can next weekend and make them black next weekend, just ran outta time today.Just wanted to post up some pics and see what everyone thinks!Larger tires are coming, but made a deal with the wife to wear these out first before buying new ones!

I did the 2" budget boost, had problems with death wobble, removed it while researching the dynamics. If you read the content, you would have noticed that larger tires are coming soon.I never "had" to cut them,I did it for clearance when the larger tires are installed, which will happen very soon.I am sorting out my options as far as whether or not the 2" coil spacers go back on or not,and am leaning towards an Old Man Emu lift. The issues I had with death wobble have been hard to track down, and everything considered common, such as track bar, worn bushings, etc.,have been eliminated.I have replaced steering stabilizer, and soon will be installing cam bolts.I plan to replace my tires with 32' or 33',then put the spacers back on.If I encounter death wobble again,I'm pitching them in the trash and doing coils.
