Tech questions on suspension lifts.

Personally, I'd run longer brake lines. You won't have to worry about them anymore. The old CJ needs a new set anyway. Other than that, you should be fine with the 2.5" lift and 33s. If you haven't yet, you WILL need to upgrade to one piece shafts in the AMC20. You can break them with the factory tires if you try, with 33s they have a very short life ahead of them.

The stuff about your axle not being able to handle tires over 33" is true.....if they are in factory form. Swap in some one piece shafts and a full truss on the AMC20, and throw some heavy duty/big joint shafts in the front D30 and you are good up to 36s, as long as you aren't running a huge amount of power or really low gearing. IMO of course.
 

Ok, sounds like fun. Know a good place I can get a good deal on these parts? And can i put them in myself?
