I have an 05' sport with 25k on it. Occasionaly when i'm in nuetral and my foot is off the clutch there is a metal sounding clatter, when i press the clutch is it goes away. Also when switching gear as I am going down the road, I let the clutch out and i get a quick sqeak from the clutch.....any ideas? Thanks guys

Possibly a Throw out bearing noise and part Gear train noise.. Check the fluid. Depending on how the 25K has been spent with the transmission, you might want to check the condition of the fluid..
Ok they said that it's normal and it's just "gear backlash", and that all jeeps do it. Although I have had a 91 and a 98 and they didnt. But then again it might have something to do with it being a 6 spd rather than 5. I was told to put synthetic in it and possibly it could help. So thats the diagnosis.
