Standard to auto swap on 93 yj

I want to remove the 5speed and replace with auto(999). Will I have to change computers?

I know that I might have to change the input shaft on the transfercase. Anything else I might be missing?

You'll use the same computer, as neither the 5spd or auto in the YJ is computer controlled.

Transfer case input shaft should be the only other major concern, and maybe front/rear driveshaft lengths.

Thanks Bounty. The only electrical part I could think of was the shift light. Could be funny on an automatic.

You know there is a lot more to change than just that though (as you probably do know)
Shifter detent/throttle kick down
Radiator will need to be swapped
and yes the input shaft will need to be changed for the Tcase, but a simple thing to do.
