Questionable Bars!!!???

I got a '63 cj-5 and i was wondering what the bars that go above the engine are called. They run from the body up to the fenders or the grill. Theres 2 of them, 1 on each side. What do i call these and what do they do??? :-O :-D :-O :-D :-O [addsig]

Do they mount to the fire wall and to then they go to the front grill???

LOL that is for the front grill support ..It keeps the radiator
and all that from coming backwards into the fan and making
for a leaky radiator... :-D [addsig]

Yea, i got the pictures down. . . i need a digital camera though, would seriously help. All i've done is taken out the interior stuff and i've used a throw away camera thing. Things are expensive too. . . lol, most of them were poser pics though hehe . Once i started taking them i just couldnt stop, its so bueatiful . . . .
