Q from Newbie...Expensive to install Cruise?

Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice. I just purchased an Standard 07 Jeep Wrangler which I love. I had to search high and low to find a used Jeep that was a standard. The only downside is it does not have cruise control and I need to drive it to NC from NY. Any advice?

looking to go oem or aftermarket? cant imagine it would be too difficult to swap in - but its a matter of sourcing out the parts... if you can find them in a boneyard youre better off w/oem and installing - otherwise - check out the aftermarket as dealer pricing will prob. make the oem setup cost prohibitive... g'luck and welcome to jeepz! you'll like it here! good people and good advice!

Thanks for the help! I will probably suck it up and actually have to "drive" the whole way OR take my Audi. Way more fun to take the Jeep though - they allow vehicles on the beach! Also, three dogs fit much better in a 4 door jeep than a German car! HA! Since about all I can do is install Satellite radio in my car I will shop around and see what I can find. If it is cost prohibitive then I will leave as is.
