Looking for a price range in which to sell a used hard top and doors from a CJ-7....

the hard top is in fair condition only thing needing fixed is the rear hatch, the rear of the frame has rusted through at the brackets so they dont hold the hatch on.... otherwise it has new weather stripping and the glass is in good shape.....

the hard doors are in good shape have tinted glass, mirrors mounted on them, vent shades, only problem with them is that the latches need work to be able to open and close the doors from the outside....otherwise they are in good shape

looking for a price quote range..... these are my spare set i have a great set of hard top and hard doors for my CJ-7 just looking to make some money for a soft top

thanks FiC

If they are the new style doors you'll get more. I got $850 for mine after listing them in the paper for a couple of weeks. The doors were primer black with no rust, but the door panels weren't in very good shape. My top was a steelhorse top that had some bondo patched holes but looked ok. Depends on where you are but you'll probably get more for it in the fall/early winter and I'd start it at $1000-1200 and you can always go down. Fix your door handles. If you take them apart you have a piece that is bent and sliding over the part it's supposed to contact/push to open the latch. Bend it back and your doors will work fine......

edit: with a bad rear hatch you better figure on losing whatever a replacement hatch will cost the buyer. You can still get $500-600 for a good set of the newer style doors on ebay, so you should still get enough for a soft top if your doors are in good shape.

Maybe $600-$800.

wm69 has it right.....Jeep newbs get desperate and stupid around the time it starts getting cold and hardtop prices soar!!
