Opinions on lockers for '03 TJ...

Torn between getting a traditional locker for the Dana 35 (rear) on my TJ...like and Ox cable unit...versus an auto locker like this one:

PowerTrax? No-Slip? Locker by Richmond and Other Jeep Parts and Jeep Accessories by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware

Not sure how reliable the automatic unit would be, and I'd like the piece-of-mind that would be there with an on/off switch (or lever with the Ox).

Price wise, the auto locker looks promising. Not going to do too much rock crawling, just want the added traction in this slippery Georgia red clay.

I'm open to all opinions. Thanks for your attention.

If you do alot of pavement driving I would recommend a selectable locker like the ox locker or and arb air locker. If you you do more off road driving the auto locker would be fine.

Have you considered a limited slip differential like the Detroit Truetrac? Sounds like it would work well in your application, and invisible on the street.

I have the ECTed electric style and am very happy with it. It works as a posi when off but when you hit the switch its all go!

Lunch box lockers front and rear, I have found Aussie to be the best priced

Cool, guys. Thanks much to all for replying. Definitely have some good options to consider.
