New leaf Springs

Reverse eye... nice!

The ones you posted are Rubicon Express springs. At least they look identical and have the same writeup. I would buy direct before I bought from those guys because it is the same price. You might be able to buy them from a RE dealer a bit cheaper.

If I didn't have a near-new stock set already to do mine with (that I got for free) then they would be my definate choice.

They are the same price as the other Rubicon Express springs.
 
I'll be getting those for my rig soon, I like that they have a 6 leaf version too, I need them in the rear. I say go for it, but save some cash and buy from RE!
 
The RE one are also what I will soon be looking for when I do my SOA (1.5" ) are you going to a SOA or the traditional SUA?
 

are they the same price as RE's traditional eye springs?
 

What makes a reverse eye better? It's still not a double military wrap. If you break the main spring you are SOL. I am running YJ springs by Off Road Connection on mine all the way around. They sell for $98 each and are 9 thin leaves and double military wrap. They have been on SOA for a year now with no sagging. That's saying something for me (you've all seen the multiple wheelie pictures). Just another option. Most guys around here run those or BDS springs.
 
They must be a dealer of sorts. In the second picture that is a Blue Torch Fab full width bumper kit at the bottom of the page.

Not really better, they just lower the lift from 2.5" to 1.5". You get the longevity and resistance to spring wrap that a 2.5" pack offers but at a lower lift height.

I wouldn't pay extra for them either....Pay extra just to cheat myself out of an inch of lift? I don't think so. If your driveline can handle it, just get their 2.5" pack and enjoy the extra inch of clearance....if not (for some reason :? ), these springs would be a good option.
 

SOA on worn out springs will be a lift with a soft ride! I would run the springs you have maybe have them rearched and an extra leaf added! Nothing more. Stiff springs will not give the flex of the saging old spring you have now and the SOA will give you plenty of lift. Makes sence to me anyway! tug

This is what they advertise:

"reverse eye allows more positive arch than traditional style, resulting in a better ride and longer life due to the fact that the spring does not need to go into a negative arch to compress"

Sounds good, but do they make a big difference? I dunno but I'd be interested if someone else wants to be the $560 guinnea pig!!!

AKA stiffer ride and less flexibility
