need help with oil

i recently bought a jeep and i have no owners manual. i have a manual about jeeps from 87 to 2000. i need to know what oil i should use in my 93 yj. i also need to know if i need any special oil or anything in the rear axle since i have a locker.

You can use a 10w-30 for the engine. For the Axles, I use 75/ 140 synthetic front and rear.

Thanks, yea i somehow did not get a manual for my jeep when i bought it so i dont really know much about it. SteelHeadz--- do you have lockers in the rear?

i have an ARB locker in the rear im not sure if that will change what oil i should use

No, i dont have lockers. Most of my friends do. we've been using the Mopar 75/140 synthetic on them for the last 6 yrs.

No special gear oil is required for the ARB locker, that I'm aware of. Use what ARB recommends.
