Well, I'm here! It's everything I thought it would be and less! The food is allright. The weather is allright. It's a small city run by diesel generators so there is a constant humm and the smell of diesel has replaced fresh air. I am lucky for now since I'm only about half a block away from the nearest toilet trailer with lights. The shower trailer is another few doors down from that. We have pretty good internet access where we're staying. Of course being a network administrator means I'm going to have internet wherever I go.....Job perk! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.....I'll be in touch pretty regularly hopefully!

Glad to hear you made it over there safely, but I still wish you were back stateside. Cool that you've got internet access....I keep thinking about the boys in WW1 that would send letters and get them 4 years later after the war was over!!:lol: I wish you the best, my friend, and I pray for your safe return.
