Kingpin Bar?

Okay, I have JKS disco's on my TJ, and the "king pin bar" falls forward and dangles. Of course I tie the swaybars up, but when the KP bar falls it does no good.
(BTW I don't know if that's the correct jargon for that bar...it's what I over heard a mechanic call it. But it's the bar that the sway bars dangle from.

Any fixes, advice? You guys with disco's what do you do?

the hole thing is the sway bar. king pins are on the axle.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. But how are you all holding the Sway Bar assembly up?

Well I never had any discos (just left the swaybar unhooked all the time), but I would just take some of those plastic zip-tie things and hook it through one of the holes on the swaybar and then hook it up to the frame or somewhere up in the wheel wells.

That may look a little trashy, but it sure works. Zip ties are cheap too, so you can just cut them off, throw em away, and replace whenever you go off roading again!!

Sometimes I would also use some wire and secure it up there with that instead (it can be reused too).

you have to take both of and put one back on.

get some of those cheap little light-duty bugee cords, with the small hooks. Hook it right through the pin hole in the disconnect.

Big thick zip ties work great.
