I'm about to do an application of herculiner(when I find time). About how high does everyone aply it on the tub? Just the floor pans or do you do the walls too?

I have a 95 YJ that I herced'. I did the whole inside tub. I did the entire back up and under the top frame rails and I did the front up to the JEEP logo on the side. I would have done all the way up when I did it but was too lazy. I did do all the was up to the dash on the fire wall though. so I guess the only thing I didn't do was all the way up on the front sides but the ebrake lever.

RE: Jeep Trailor???

I did all the way up the walls on the inside too. I think it would probably look better to just do the floor and wheel wells, but I had a red tub I was turning into a black jeep, and I didn't feel like painting and then doing the liner. I had a harder time with the herculiner on the vertical surfaces. It seemed to thin out with gravity and I have a few little spots where you can see the red poking through, so keep an eye on that as you do it.

i'm getting ready to do mine and my debate is the stock roll bar...take out or just the base or up to the body line or...... cant make up my mind.... grrr...

I did both... I had it out anyway, so I did the tub with it out, and then since I needed to paint the bars anyway, I hurculined them up to where the roll bar covers stop. I think it looks good, and now those surfaces are covered.

I'd definitely recommend taking the roll bars out. The area under the roll bars might have some rust that you can clean up and coat. My "new" tub (95 YJ) had some surface rust under there, and there wasn't any other rust on the thing.

RE: Building a stroker out of a 4.0L

yea... gonna pull the bar and do under the mounts... i'll just have to see when its done since i pulled the covers off a while ago (old school look!) - play it by ear I guess - but i'm doing the entire tub inside... prob. next 3day weekend...

RE: 1992 Jeep Wrangler! DIRT CHEAP!!

I did the entire inside, up the sides and as far up the front firewall as I could. Didn't do the roll bars since I have the padding on them. Also did the tailgate, but not sure I like it now that it's done.
