will a 1966 cj 5 hard top fit my 79 cj5?

width might be a problem... according to the charts in the venerable "J.C. Whitney" jeep catalog... the 55-75 CJ-5 had a windshield width of 59" whereas the 76-83 CJ-5 measures 55" like the current jeeps so according to that, no, wont fit... hope it helps (if the catalog is correct)

your right the angle of the windshield frams diff. to know any body that needs a hard top for a 66 cj5 ?
