cheap soft top

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a cheap soft top for my yj in black. I was wondering if the cheapest way to go would be to buy the top hardware kit for 88-95 w/oem top and 1/2 doors kit from quadratec for 140 and then a cheap replacement top off of ebay for like 75. Would that work? Anyone have a soft top for sale?

I have full steel doors though. Would that leave a gap since the window skins are square on the top?

Factory tops will NOT work with full doors. The doors won't even shut, so scratch that idea.

You'll need a Supertop or one of the "frameless" tops like rock gear ( http://www.rockgearinc.com/ ) or there is a similar top made by a company based in Canada which the name is escaping me right now maybe someone can help me out here....

Would I be able to get the factory soft top with upper doors and then buy a set of best top lower soft doors to go with it?

XJ Pinion Seal Replacement

They dont make lower soft doors compatable with the squared upper doors anymore. Your only hope would be to find a set of older full soft doors on ebay that have the squared corners. I've only seen a few on there and they were all in real rough shape.

If you want to get a factory type top and frame, you will probably have to get a set of hard half doors and factory style upper doors - and that takes "cheap" out of the equation.
