I have '95 wrangler 2.5 runs and starts fine when warm. after 20 minutes engine cold it has no spark it will turn over until you wonder if the battery can take any more, the check engine light will come on, then you will have spark and it will run. any ideas? thanks eddie

Have you pulled a plug to see if you have spark?Could be a fuel problem. If your system is loosing pressure when sitting.Try turning the key on and off a few times before starting to see if priming the fuel pump helps. If it does look for fuel leaks.

my 88 yj with the 258 wont start when the outside temp is below 45 or so but if its warm outside it fires right up and runs fine. i took the carb off and found a few air leaks between spacers for the weber carb conversion and im pretty sure thats what the problem is. my parts should be here this week and ill let you know if that does it. with your fuel injection though i dont know if it would do the same thing just a thought though.

i just checked it ihave no spark. is there a temp sensor that may have an
effect on the ignition circuit? I know the one in the t-housing will have effect on fuel management.
