He turned it into a top of the line Personal Computer that he can take to friends houses for "LAN Parties" where everyone rings their PC and you all play games like Quake against each other.

However, he also left it fully functional as a RC Car so that he can unhook everything and drive it around the house or yard under it's own power.

not a bad idea, persoanally I don't have the patience for a project like that.
