RE: Rubicon

I posted tire size poll 10.5 or 12.5 and someone replyed that 35's will rub on my ride is this true?

I have 1995 YJ with 4" BDS Suspension Lift and 2" body lift! running a D44 Rear with 4.88's loaded with ARB's front and rear!!

What I am asking is what is the biggest tire size that will not rub with the sway-bar Quick-disc.?

33? 35? 36?
Please let me know what you are running? and how much you Rub!

All depends on how much wheel offset you have.

34x10.50! swampers... 35s should be just fine, may need some bumpstops but 35s are a good size for that. IMO33's are best, still a lot of flex and some room in the wheel wells still

I was running the same amount of lift as you are. I had 35 x 14.50 Boggers and they had plenty of room to flex. I personally think skinny tires are ugly, go wide on a Jeep. I think the basckspacing was 3 & 5/8".

My 93 had a 4" Skyjacker, 3" BL, and lift shackles(tried .5" and 1") and the 36x12.50 Swamper TSLs on 10" wheels rubbed. Disconnected it would eat the fenders up. It was better with the 35" Dunlop mudrovers, but it still rubbed when disconnected.

If they hit, lower the bumpstops until they don't.
