These are some crazy seats!

Finally bought some dana 44's, now it's what to do with them

The one problem I see is IFS. That and it looks a little heavy. Other than that, it definately has a futuristic theme, but not bad.

Looks like it would make a good sci-fi movie prop

Sorry, I'm not much on rice burners in general, but it does look neat.

RE: Humor for a Monday

I'm imagining a big LEGO guy in there driving it, his hand would clasp right onto that shifter... Yes, definatly a lego mobile.

RE: Humor for Anyday

You could hide godzilla in the blindspots. Though it would add the element of surpise, which can be exciting. That shifter has to go too, it wouldnt be too long before I had coffee all over the interior and a detonated transmission from accidentally knocking it into reverse at 75 mph trying to get to the cup holder. I do like how the exhaust exits and the funky tire tread though.

RE: Re: RE: August goings ons..........

I said it last time, and I'll say it again. "I like it."

I think some of the blind spot issues are addressed with the wrap around rear window. I like the look. IFS can't be looked upon as an issue as EVERYONE is going to IFS.

Its really the front blind spots that would concern me, between the front posts, the big mirrors, and the low seats I'm afraid it would feel a little tank-ish. I don't have much of a neck so I rarely turn my head far enough to get to the rear blind spots, so look out if you're ever behind me.

I don't mind the IFS, its at least tucked up in pretty well, though it looks as though it could use some beefing up. Plus if there's one place to have IFS, its on smaller vehicles that aren't going to get the boucy hammer effect quite so much. Which probably is really only an issue on rocks for the most part.

It appears the Toyota SWB tradition will continue......they still suck compared to a Jeep.
