TJ Clutch questions

Hi all,

I have a 2001 TJ with the stock 4.0L, manual transmission, 55k miles.
The other day, the clutch went to the floor without resistance. I released the clutch and tried to depress the pedal again and it won't budge (the clutch is engaged).

I thought it might be the master/slave cylinder. Fluid level was good. I pulled them off but they seem fine. No leaks, push on one side, the other moves out.

When I stick my finger into the hole for the slave cylinder, the fork has a lot of slop and no resistance at all. I thinking I have a bad throw out bearing or something along those lines. I guess it is time to tear apart the clutch and put in new parts.

1.) Is there a better brand of clutch out there that I should get?

2.) the repair manual say that the master/slave/linkage is a sealed unit but all the aftermarket cylinders come as separates. Is this something new since the manual was written?

Thanks!
