T176/300 for a T150/20

RE: Engine operating temperature for an 4.0 L

I have a 78CJ7 with 304/T150/Dana20. I also have a T176/Dana300 under a Jeep that I am going to part out.

Would the T176/300 bolt up to the bellhousing I currently have under my 78? Or would the bellhousing under the junk jeep bolt up to the 304?

Or is this even worth the trouble?

The T-176 will bolt to the T-150 bellhousing, and the T-176 bellhousing will bolt to your 304 as long as it was behind either an AMC V8 or I6 originally.


Worth the trouble?......oh yeah.

The T-176 holds together better if you like to hit second gear hard, not to mention the fact that the gearing is soooooo much better than in the three speed T-150. You will love the D300.
