Shocks for TJ w/ Skyjacker Single Flex 4" Lift

I just noticed that Skyjacker has both a "Hard Top" and "Soft Top" version of their lift kits. I have the 4" Single Flex kit on my TJ, but I have no idea if it's the soft or hard top model? What's the difference? I'm planning to put a hard top on this year, so is there anything I need to know?

Thanks,
Rob

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's a weight thing.

A hard top weighs a lot more than a soft top, So I'm guessing the spring are different to compensate for this. I'd buy for whichever top you plan on using the most, I guess...

The hard top kits just have a higher spring rate to compensate for the weight of the hard top. When you put the hard top on, the rear may lose a little height if they are the lighter springs, but I wouldn't worry about it too much, as it should be minimal. You could always throw a spacer in there to compensate if it is noticeable.

Thanks for the feedback. The weight thing makes perfect sense. When I bought the kit, I wasn't even aware that there were two versions. I'm guessing mine is the soft top version as I had a soft top at the time.
