Dealership cant fix...NEED HELP

not that its a huge problem right now because for the next 2 years my licence will restrict me to only 1 passenger but my passenger seat wont recline fwd. when i pull the "gigamawiggy" the back of the seat moves fwd but the seat stays down unlike the drivers side where the whole seat pops up. its a pain in my "budonkadonk" to pull the "gigamawiggy" and then use the bar under to pull the seat fwd but then it still doesnt give a lot of room for people and stuff to get in and out. anyone know how to fix this or what might be the problem

No help on the seat, but curious about the license thing.....what'd you lose it for and why can you only have one passenger?

Mine was doing that, and I just removed it and installed an ejection seat off an F-16 fighter jet. Probably not a good solution.......I've gone through 3 soft tops and now no one will ride with me

JK, of course. Sorry, wish I could help.......my gigamawiggy works fine.

okies first of all to understand how everything works you kind of need to understand how to get your licence in BC.
first of all you get your L (learners - and have a bright red reflector magnet on the back of your ride with a big fat L) you now need to have your L for about a year now (only 6 months when i had it) and you have to be with somone over the age of 25 with their full licence and can have one other additional passenger family is the exception
Next you get your N (novice aka-new driver - this time you get a nice bright reflective green magnet with a big fat N on it [must be displayed or a 86$ fine]) i could have gotten rid of mine in march 04 and i was under old rules - absoulty no liqour and must display N sign (only had to have it for a year)

OKIES WHY I LOST MY LICENCE
october 23 2004 i totaled my 96 hyundai accent- looking at directions going super slow on a stright road but bad weather and i rolled my car into a ditch and totaled it (it pretty much drowned in the sickest ditch water you can think of - think of all the ferilizer on the farm land) i was pretty damn lucky somone stopped cause its not a very busy road and it was late at ngiht and i couldnt get my door open. apperently if i was in there for an hour or 2 longer i could have gotten hypothermia and might not have made it. good news is i was completly fine and surprisingly didnt even get sick from the nasty water i was practically swiming in. i was super calm thou the whole thing which worried the cops but hey.. i didnt wanna freak my mom out anymore than she already was... (got home 1st had a shower then my roomate drunkened me up with 8 blowjobs and a paralyizer - gotta love roomies)

got my jeep 2/3 weeks later :) november 9th and then got the letter suspending my licence december 7th :(

SO NOW when i go and get my licence renewed it goes under the new "N" rules
only 1 passenger (whos not family) which is absolutly retarded
no liquor (not even .01 - even if your of age like me)
display the N
and you have to have this for 2 years
-i'm sorry but i DD alot for my friends (mainly cause i dont trust many of them) the one passeger rule is just absoultly retarded - i dont know how well i'm going to follow that rule

but theres my story - sorry so long

RE: hilarious mockup pic of my car! photoshopped!

Thanks for the lesson! I had no idea about all that stuff. Interesting, but kinda stupid...or at least parts of it are stupid, like the "one passenger" rule. I think they should go to that reflector thing here, only with different letters, like "L" for loser, "I" for idiot, "CWTH" for Crash Waiting to Happen, "NBBBTW" for "No Business Being Behind The Wheel", etc.......

I don't know what it's like in BC, but here in Kansas, when I was a kid, and probably still holds true, farm kids can drive at whatever age they're old enough to see over the wheel, so long as it's directly related to the farming business. They may have changed that a few years ago after a spate of accidents involving 9 and 10 year olds, but I can remember a lot of my friends driving at 7 and 8 years old. Not just cars, either, big grain trucks. One of my buddies and his brother would drive the wheat truck during harvest to the local grain elevator, about 15 to 20 miles from the farm. He'd stand in the seat and steer while his younger brother would work the gas, brake and clutch. He was 7 when he started this and his brother was 5......surprisingly, there weren't many accidents with kids then. Never even heard of any until a few years ago when a couple of them were killed in separate accidents.

Whew, for a minute there I thought you were 16  Around here if you're 16 and had your license under 6months, only one passenger that's not family.

RE: Time waster

My "gigamawiggy" stopped working a few years ago...(get you mind out of the gutter!) :? We have to reach under the seat between the rails on the left side near the front to push on a lever to make the whole seat flip forward (not the lever that moves it back/forward).....never have fixed the "gigamawiggy" though, we just work around it

actually my best friend matty used to have a tracker
he got the same sorta problem (but i dont think he had a gigamawiggy just a lever or somthing) but he just had to take out the seat and reinstall it so i'm going to give that a try. but if it doesnt work i'm definantly going to try the under the seat thingy.... THANX BUDDIE :D

Chat site problem

Check to see if any of the metal brackets under there are bent. My driver side seat had the same problem. I took the seat out and it looked like an elephant had sat on the seat (by the way it was like that before I bought it!). I just took it all apart and heated it all up, then beat it back into place.
