Fun for GPS users + win a Jeep!!

Welcome to Jeepz.com and congrats on the Jeep! You are going to love it.

I would test the 4wd system. Put it in 4wd and turn the wheel all the way to one side, then slowly pull forward. It should make the steering wheel jump back and forth if the 4wd is working properly. Don't do this for long, just enough to test it.

Check all the fluids, The transmission, engine, radiator, Tcase, etc.... If you can, have a mechanic perform a compression test. If not, Take out a sparkplug and inspect it for proper wear, Take the air intake off and inspect the throttle body for excessive grime build up. Check the tires, see if the front is straight and true, also look at the spare, often when a tire is cupping real bad or wearing uneven, some times they will swap the spare on and not fix the problem inorder to sell. Lift up the carpet and inspect the floor's condition. If you do decide that this is the jeep for you, I would advise the first thing you do is change all fluids so you know what is in there and when it was done (don't forget to change the diff fluid too)

other wise congratulations!!
