wHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET A CHEAP TOP FOR A CJ5---UNDER 500????

If you have the original soft top hardware a “Replace-A-Top” or “RAT” top is your best bet. Used one don’t come around that often. It looks like Bestop has a $50 give back going which should get you pretty close. Otherwise you are into something like a Supertop and a lot more money.
