Hi guys, well I guess first I am looking for rear 410 ring and pinion for a 35 rear axle or the whole assembly if available. But my main question is where is a good jeep parts classified's site that I can go too? Second is i am thinking about locking out the rear of my jeep, but it is my daily driver, so I was wondering what is the best route to go as far as locker's goes, and of coarse what is the most cost efficient locker?

Mgmckenna, first off I wouldnt recomend that you put in used gears, but go for a new set that have been lapped together( matched set). It run you more now to buy new but they wont fail you later if they have been worn wrong down the road.

As far as a locker in the rear, its really up to you, some would argue to go with a full Detroit type of a fully locked, others suggest a selectable type.
Personally I like a selectable type, either a E-locker or a Air-activated with a daily driver

Don't waste money locking the weak D35, put a portion of that money into having a bracket kit installed on a junkyard 8.8 that already has 4.10 gears in it. They have disc brakes and the same lug pattern as jeeps. Can even be found with a factory limited slip.

Look in '95+ Explorers.

I agree with BountyHunter. I'm in the same sittuation as you, (want to lock-up and gear-down), but I know the 35 is going to give out if I do, (and probably at the least convenient time possible as these things tend to happen). Be patient, go with the 8.8, or you'll regret it. Good luck.
