My mom (63) got an email offering her a 2nd chance offer on a FSJ a couple of days ago. Funny thing is she didn't bid on it. She immediately emailed me asking if I had anything to do with it (I didn't even know she had an ebay account). Anyhow, I set up a fake yahoo email account and emailed the "seller" telling him I was VERY interested in the Jeep. He of course sends me an email telling me that he was in the UK and that I could buy the Jeep for only $4151! He didn't seem to catch the fact that the ebay username I used doesn't exist, or that the email from which I replied was not one of the addys he phished. Anyhow, he sent me an "official" ebay listing telling me to wire the money to him in London and email the wire transfer details to "ebay@square-trade-community.com" and wire the money to.....

Typical scammer who misspelled "comunity" in his fake "ebay 2nd offer" email he sent. He also didn't notice that the real seller of the Jeep has already left + feedback for the high bidder who actually bought the Jeep.

Anyhow, the address is a place called "Farmer's newsagents" Anybody know what this place is? I tried a net search but didn't get much. Anyhow, I've been messing around with the guy (see www.bustedupcowgirl.com for good stories).

If these people would actually put even 1/2 the effort into working as they do in scamming people they'd probably be rich....
