Official temp for the day was 131 deg F, Sitting in my Jeep in trafic I waticed it reach 140. Was totally dreached in sweat by the time I got home. Fitting the hard top as the Bikini top is making the Jeep into a 4x4 sauna

My father was in Djabuti (sp) for the past three weeks for work, he said it was that hot.

Even Arizona rarely gets THAT hot . . . AC time. Can't really go wheeling in that heat either, even a flat tire could be deadly.:???:

Dang.....and I was complaining about 92 and high humidity. I LOVE the winter time myself. I would rather it be 20 than 90. Sick, ain't it?

Some of us die hards still venture out into the desert during summer. We leave at 4am and are out the desert by 10am. The sand is soft and requires more technical driving. Stucks and pop offs occure more frequent. I run my tyre pressure at 8 psi during the summer months.
