I just bought a 1978 CJ5 and I'm noticing that it leans slightly to the driver's side; does that mean that I need to replace the springs, or what? I'm no expert on these vehicles (as if that wasn't apparent) so any suggestions or directions to point me in would be appreciated. It has a lift kit on it, but I'm not sure how to measure how much of a lift it has. . . okay, you can stop laughing now. Thanks in advance for your help.[addsig]

Some older jeeps tend to have that problem. My jeep sags to the driver side slightly just because it has been driven many many miles, normaly you are the only one in the jeep. That means that after all of those miles you add on to the jeep when your driving by yourself, your suspension begins to sag to one side. It is either that or some of the body mounts could have rusted out.... :-?

Please tell us your not a "big fella"? Har Har! Yes, sounds like the springs have gone soft, or are bent.[addsig]
