Some people around here have used a heat gun to bring the black back. Someone else can give you the details i'll bet.

Heat gun works great. Start slow and far away, you'll get the hang of it quick. Don't get too close or hold in one place too long.

I heard of some type of dye made for just that reason..i can't remeber who makes it..but check out autozone or pepboys.

Hey you didnt happen to buy that 97' down here on the cape did ya? probably not but I was looking at one and someone cleaned the flares tires, gaurds and even the bumper with something and they were all grey and nasty. That happens alot tho I think people dont understand that you can clean that kind of stuff with fantastic   kidding but alot of house hold cleaner and some car stuff contains bleach so check the label.

i used to use some trim coating from a company called Meguiar's (i think thats how its spelled). you can buy it at advanced auto for $4 or so and it comes in a black bottle. thats still a temporary fix though... and i would recommend taking them off and refinishing them. you could just use any good regular spray paint (as long as you scuff the surfaces up a little)... or you could use something like herculiner. i actually did my rear bumper and the plastic trim pieces in it just last week... and i LOVE it. it really gives it a rugged look, and the stuff is indestructable.
