Headlight problem...

So a couple weeks ago my jeep gets rained in. Happened before, no big deal right? Well I guess it is this time. Ever since then I have this nice little problem of the headlights sometimes going out when I hit the dimmer switch. Not always, its inconsistant, but sometimes. Its not as bad now as it was, so maybe its drying itself out, but still does sometimes. Any suggestions? I thought about pulling the switch out and trying to dry it, but I dont know.

Something has a loose connection. Mine did something like that with the Blinkers. All I did was make sure all the conenctions were tight and it stopped.

Connections where? in the steering column? or elsewhere?

yea probably just a short, try the stealership.

also, on my 01 there was a recall for some bad wiring in the steering column. in particular, this defect is vulnerable to water. check with the stealership for sure.
