Great price on winch if it works


wow, i'm surprised its up over 300 bucks without knowing if it even works. thats a solid winch, but like you said, if it works. fixing it might not be that expensive depending on the fault, but still, lot of money to pay for an unsure thing. i'd save up the extra change and buy new, or buy a used one you know works. but thats just me.
 
I would say that it definitely does NOT work. The handle to shift from free spool to engage is missing.
I don't think it is that good of a deal even if the handle were there. The wire and hook can cost over $100 depending on where you buy it, and fairleads aren't cheap either.
I bought my XD9000i used for $400 and it had the roller fairlead and cable.
It would be easy enough for the guy to test it by touching jumper cables to the poles on the motor.
