Google EARTH. Not a map program....

RE: No More Little Buddy......:(

It's pretty sweet for checkin out the 4 wheel drive trails here.

That is so cool!!
Must be older satelite images though. The addition I put on my house 2-1/2 years ago is not there. Hmmm...Maybe I shouldn't be paying those higher taxes.........

RE: Jeep "Patriot" and "Rally" Concepts

if you guys click the building radio button, it will super impose sky scraper and structures onto the map. You can then "fly" through and around the bulidings. You can also tilt the map to get perspective of the structures.

Also, click the food or hotel buttons, and all of them will pop up on the map (in 3d) If you click on them, it will give you all contact info on the business.

It was cool flying thru downtown San Francisco.

Also, you can designate a marker, then email the marker to another Google Earth user.

Custom Bumpers

I got this program a while ago... A lot of referenced imagery isn't quite up to date, but then again, neither is the bank for all the other programs out there... Kind of neat seeing what the silver maple in front of my house looked like before the lightning cut the crown in half a few years back... Or seeing my street with it's trees (parents street: all ash trees, all gone, thank you Emerald Ash Borer)

Saurian, did you actually go to a big city? Do so, and click the building icon. You can drive down Broadway in Manhattan and the bulidings are 3D!!! I think many are just looking at the birds eye flat map. Tilt the point of view and click the building icon...WOAH.
