Extended crank in the morning

Lately I have had an extended crank in the morning (I'm not talking morning wood either). I have checked TSB's and haven't found anything about it. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this and had it resolved. It is still under warranty (bought used in Feb) but I don't feel like hanging around the dealership all day if it is something I can fix. No codes and engine data is within parameters, nothing jumps out at me. I'm sure its fuel related.

Thanks in advance

Guess no one has run into that. If I ever find out the problem I'll post the fix for it.

I haven't seen it on that new of a jeep. On my '95 2.5L, I just leave the key in the on position for a second or two until fuel pressure is good, and it cranks right up. It'll crank a little longer if I try to start it immediately.

Yeah, I have never seen it on that new of a Jeep either, thats why I was wondering if anyone else had. I'm going to run a few tests and see if I can find anything.

Leave the key in the run position for a few seconds before turning to start. If it fires quicker, likely a fuel pressure problem. Let us know what the culprit is.
