engine tries to die

when coming to a stop i put the car in neutral and roll up to the light or whatever it is and the rpm's will drop to like 100 and engine cuts out a lil and then goes back to idle after 3-5secs. happens daily.
any guesses y?

My first guess would be a vaccum leak. Get some starting fluid and spritz around here and there following ALL vac. lines with the engine running. If you hear the rpm's pick up, investigate that area further. Other possibilty could be a dirty throttle body. Maybe someone else has some thoughts.

Does your speedometer work? No speedo signal will cause the same symptom.

Could also be a faulty/dirty IAC sensor, Idle Air Control mounted on the side of the throttle body closest to the valve cover. Consider removed the throttle body, remove the sensors, and give the TB a good bench cleaning with carb cleaner and a toothbrush.

i recently put on a throttle body spacer and CAI and cleaned everything before installing.. but i'll check the sensor and hoses.. thnx,

Ahh that could be the culprit, is there a gasket on both sides of that spacer?
