door handles...

when i got my jeep...the passenger door handle was broken...i bought a new one and it worked good...for about 5 openings...then it broke...

so thinkin that nothing on my jeep is chrome but the doorhanldes i bought 2 black ones...put them in...the passenger side one worked great...for about 5 openings...

it looks like the arm that pushes the opening mechanism keeps bending out not pushing...

could it be that the door opening system is to tight and just needs to be lubed...or should i just rebuild the whole thing...i'm confuzed on this...by all means it should work...

My door handle kept doing that so I bought a new one and it worked fine, but since you said they are new I honestly don't know. I would say that it has to do with the bars inside the door need to be adjusted.

Doors?
What doors?

Sorry I can't help, I commend you on the lack of chrome though! I am down to the headlight trim, and those have to stay!

Peas Out.

RE: Weekend Muddin

had the same problem with my old 91 - but w/the inside handles - lube up anything that moves with graphite - works pretty well lasts a long time, doesnt attract/hold dust, and applies pretty easy in tight spots (powder)... hope it helps
