Cherokee audio upgrades

Has anyone experimented with upgrading the audio in their jeep cherokee?

I have a 1999 4.0 orvis that has the infinity set up with the 2 mids in the front doors, 2 tweeters and the 2 speakers in the rear roof lining.

Does anyone know what size the speakers are as standard and what you can actually replace them with as the standard set up is pants.

5.25s all the way around. except for the tweets, i have no idea what size them are. i had a sony Xplod CD in the dash and ARC audio 5.25 in the doors and rear sound bar in my 95xj. a clarion 400.2 was delivering the juice to the ARC audio 12 in a slot port box in the rear (142db by the way)
