As some have seen my last thread about my shackles ect...

I have seen thee lift shackles that lift i think 1.25in. Can i install these with no ill sideaffects? im going to get stock springs on the front to replace the flat ones i have now. Just wondering since i already have to buy some if i can do it with little to no other mods.

i would advise you to find you the stock shackes and go from there.what you have now look awful.

it will pay in the long run to just purchase the right kind of lift springs.

I wouldn't put stock shackles back on there. The stock ones are flimsey peices of junk. I've seen people twist and snap them off road in extreme articulation. If you're looking to go back to stock height then at least upgrade them to something a little more sturdy. I'd go with some shackles that have a small lift on them. If you go back to stock height shackles, you might have to go back to smaller tires too unless you plan on replacing those flat springs with a lift spring.

Go for a slightly longer than stock shackle that is of a heavy duty design.

Just for a update, i did put some stock shackles back on. Lost about 2in of lift in the front but everything rides better ect... Im going to save for a lift kit.
