Bodylift ?

Hey guys I am wondering if anyone has a bodylift and would be willing to sell the original bolts. I am taking mine off and dont have the originals. It is for a 95 YJ.

Just hit up a local hardware store. Measure an inch off your body lift bolts and.. woila!!

Are they just standard bolts. The guy at to local 4wheel shop said they are all threaded different and all different lengths!! Are all of the bolts going to be the same?

just go to the hardware store with one bolt... find a nut that it can thread into... then every bolt you find that can fit that nut, will work

And if you need longer lenghts on certain bolts, take a long one and a short one and just measure shorter for the amount of the bl.

what is wrong with the youth of America?

Just do the replacement in the parking lot of the hardware store...

1) remove all the bolts
2) don't touch the jeep
3) go into store and buy replacements (buy grade 8 bolts)
4) grab your wrench and put each bolt back in in the parking lot. (provided someone didn't lean up against your jeep and make it fall over.)

what is the easiest way to take it off. I bought it and it already had the bodylift on it. is there an easy way or trick to doing it?

Or remove and replace one at a time and not worry about the body moving! tug

if you do one at a time, then you'll be tightening it down too much to remove the next bolt, flexing the body

The bolts on my body came right from the home depot down the street. I just unbolted it in the garage and left it sitting on the frame. Then i went down to the store and bought new ones that were the same width and an inch bigger, i even bought the polyurathene bushing there. cost me 30 bucks for everything.

There's eleven body mount bolts, and they're not all the same. If you want stock I can hook you up, or take the 5 from one side and the radiator support body bolt to the hardware store and buy 1" shorter. Get grade 5, not 8.
