Bestop supertop

Hi i just orderd a bestop supertop softtop for my 87 YJ I was just looking at bestops website and the install instructions look like it is a bit of a task to install. Has anyone ever installed on themselves or would you reccomed it being installed by the dealer??

You should have no problem installing it yourself. Just take your time and make sure you lay the parts out in the sun for a few hours on a nice warm day to soften everything up and remove folds. This will make it much easier to install as it allows the material to stretch eaiser. The top should come with a video, watch the video for some good tips on installation. Be carfull not to scratch those nice new windows, don't rub them when they are dry. Good luck!

it's pretty easy. I put mine on in about 1 1/2 hours by myself and only had to look at the directions once or twice

DO it yourself. It is a walk in the park. The only thing is to make sure you have a set of torx(every Jeepers favorite word) head sockets for the windsheild brackets. Make sure you use the correct size or you'll strip them. That is a great soft top. What type of doors do you have?
