    TJ Drive Shaft

Thank you guys for the info and heads up, I've been in Phoenix all week for training and haven't had a chance to respond. I will take another look this weekend and get back to you. How difficult of a repair is this? Would some step by step instructions be in a Haynes manual or online? I'm not...

    TJ Drive Shaft

According to the local auto mechanic, my front drive shaft bushing is worn out. My Jeep had been making a terrible squealing grinding noise for the past few weeks, only while moving, all was quiet if I sat idle. When I took it in to have it checked out, the mechanic quoted me a price to replace...

    Patching door panel plastic

Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct place for this thread, but I was curious if anyone had any suggestions on what to use to fix cracks in the plastic door panel on a wrangler. When I bought the Jeep, there was a crack which was already fixed, but now I've got another one and I'm not sure...

    Suggestions?

I guess the only other thing I was considering was something like this, with shocks and springs.

    Suggestions?

Ok, so just replace the shocks, leave the springs and 2" spacers in place? I assume just changing the shocks will improve ride quality, no need to swap the springs as well? I'm not sure what kind of springs I've got as they came with the Jeep when I purchased it, along with the 2" spacers. The...

    Suggestions?

Ok, it's about time I finally replace my shocks. I've been running a 2" coil spacer lift since I got the Jeep, and the shocks are stock. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should buy for replacements? I have also considered this lift kit, I don't know if anyone has experience with this...

2009 4 door wrangler sub issue.

Depending on how the box is built, if you choose to fit it behind the back seat, I don't think anyone could pull the sub out unless they also had the back gate open. The distance from the tailgate to the top of the back seat is much smaller than the distance from the tailgate to the bottom of...

2009 4 door wrangler sub issue.

Not sure about the 12"s, but I managed to cram two 10" Type Rs in the cargo area of my 02 Wrangler using a custom built sealed box firing toward the rear gate. Also, I mounted my amp and capacitor to a piece of plywood and put it under the rear seats. I know Terry also has a write-up on how to...

    Second Wreck...

Ok so initial estimate by the Allstate adjuster is $6102.45. He said the frame may be bent up a little bit but the body shop would have to do a tear down to find out for sure. If all goes well, it won't be totaled out. :)

    Second Wreck...

Thanks guys. Supposedly I should hear from Allstate today as to what they are planning on doing, I will keep you all updated.

    Second Wreck...

Luckily both myself and the other driver were fine.

    Second Wreck...

Well, I'd like to fix it but I guess that's up to the insurance company, right? As far as either fixing it or calling it totaled? :/

    Second Wreck...

Hey guys and gals, just depressed and needed to vent a bit. I was in another wreck in my baby, the second in 2 months. The first time I was rear ended, didn't get my Jeep back for a month and had a horrible experience with the body shop (luckily the only things that needed fixing were all...

no fender flares plus 2' body lift = 33' tires?

I have a TJ with a 2" coil spacer lift, oem springs and shocks and I run 33"s fine as long as it's nothing too hardcore. Not sure how much difference there is between the body lift on a YJ and what I've got though so...

Been workin' on my hard top, tryn not to cuss

Actually I really appreciate that :) This was the first time I've ever had to take a car to the body shop so I had no clue what I was doing. I figure Geico would do what was best but I guess not.

Been workin' on my hard top, tryn not to cuss

Geico told me that this particular body shop was their "preferred" body shop in my area so I just went with it. Little did I know...I should have done my research first. :(

Been workin' on my hard top, tryn not to cuss

I kind of feel your pain man. I had my top and doors off all summer until I was rear ended. The body shop Geico picked out turned out to be the worst thing to happen to my Jeep (they also took 3 weeks to get it back to me after quoting me 11 days). I got it back and put the hard top on to get it...

    06 TJ lift kit

@Utah, which long arm kit do you have from Tera-Flex? What did you have to modify and replace in order for it to work?
