    I have an 88 XJ the headliner is sagging real bad. i have read the posts about replacing, but I have a sun roof (hate it) has anyone done a replacement with a crapping sunroof?

    1988 XJ Exhaust

    I have a 88 XJ, has a rough idle and stalls. Think it may be a clogged CAT. I want to put a new system in, that sounds good, improves power without busting the bank. Any ideas?? Thanks

    Intermittant no start

    I had the same problem with a 1988 jeep, I replaced the ingnition coil, TDC sensor, relays, plugs and wires, and distributer. It ended up being the ground wire on the block was dirty, cleaned it up and no more problem. Hope that helps

    1988 Cherokee with no Spark

    Update: I cleaned the ground wire on the block, it was pretty dirty. That seems to have cured the problem. Apparently the the crank shaft sensor needs enough of a signal to determine top dead center, since the ground was dirty it did not create a strong enough signal.
