Check your battery connections clean, tight, ect. Then try the other connections like starter all grounds!

In the engine compartment near the steering shaft there should be the linkage bar with a bolt on it! loosen that bolt! second photo go under the jeep and put the trans in park on the side! first photo! Now make sure the prndl (park, neutral ect.) selector is at park! Now tighten down the bolt...

The hub was the easy part It popped right off with a little tap with a hammer!

the valve was an example of how the motor can get pressurized I know they are just elbows

could be a bad starter bad battery or the cables i would clean all connections first and it you have these kind of connectors get rid of them!
