    wont go in gear?

Ok. Well, we pulled his transmission again. He had just installed a new throwout bearing and put everything together before I could get over there and look everything over. This new throwout bearing didnt last 10min. Its in pieces also just like the original. So anyways, we pulled the...

my friend is the one who owns this jeep. Ive been helping him work on it. He told me (before he asked for help) that he took the slave cylinder out and or apart. :???: Anyways, he might have air in the system. ? How would we bleed such a system if so?

    shackle flip

Hi matt. Can u get some better pictures of the back or your front leafs? I guess im not understanding the shackle reverse system. If im worried about my approach angle, it looks like you still have a drop in the front. Only its now a fixed (welded or bolted) front point. Im guessing the shackles...

The mystery of the O2 ghost sensor

    Dakota ax15 to Wrangler

Heres just a few reasons mother, SBC easier to work on (not cramed into the firewall like the six), Parts are cheaper, Better weight distribution, I have much more personal experience with fuel injected sbc's, 305tuned port roller engine is more efficient, Every Jeep motor I have ever owned...

    Dakota ax15 to Wrangler

This SBC has no more hp/tq than the straight six. And the ax15 is longer than the ax5 which im currently running. Not counting the adapter plate I will use. So therefore, OAL will be longer. And this jeep will be driven highway only. Stock tires.

    Dakota ax15 to Wrangler

Thanks for the info. I currently have a 4banger. And also have an extra 21spline 231 layin around. I just need to be positive that the dakota ax15 is identical and not clocked different before I go pull one from the junkyard. I have considered that. But, not matter what route I take, my drive...

    Dakota ax15 to Wrangler

Heres what im doin. Im putting a small block chevy in my yj. Im gonna get the adapter plate to adapt the ax15 to the sbc. I have heard the dakota ax15 rear (where it mates to tcase) may be slightly clocked different than np231j position. ????
