    glasspack muffler

    I put a cherry bomb glass pack on my 4cyl. i really liked the sound at idle. sounds like a V8 but as you get moving it sounds like a ricer car and on the freeway bring ear plugs. it was fun for a day then changed to a longer cherry bomb turbo.. much more tolerable.

    this is an old post. i was ill informed of the axle its actually 3.73 gears and stock trac-lock still a D44a with disc brakes. if your still intersested send me a private message with an offer

    do you know what the differences might be? all i can find is that the 2.5 was used in the following vehicles: 1984–1986 Jeep CJ-7 1983.5–1984 AMC Eagle 1984–2000 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 1986–1992 Jeep Comanche (MJ) 1987–2002 Jeep Wrangler (YJ/TJ) 1988–1989 Eagle Premier 1996–2002 Dodge Dakota

    is it really that much? from what i can tell is its a 5hp and 11 lb-ft increase. isnt it basically the same engine. im trying to find info on it. i guess i asking if anyone has done this before

    i just plain flat out dont want an 8. i have an 8 in another truck just want something smaller and lighter. dont newer 4cyl stock have a little more horsepower and torque? could i put a better 4cyl. without changing the trans etc? by better i mean have more hp and trq. stock.

    the poor 4cyl. has seized up. some ppl throw some ideas at me. no V8s most likely a 4cyl unless i can get a 6cyl. (either inline or V) in there for reasonable price. but with 6 i need trans etc. with any engine?

    04 grand cherokee starting issue

    having trouble starting battery is not dead, have fuel. just getting clicking noise when try to start it. to get it to start and stay on have to press on the gas. once gas is let off engine shuts off. setting is alaska its in single digits but jeep is supposed to have had all the fluids...

    i have a D44a axle with disc brakes minus the calipers with locker and 4.56 gears that i might not use anymore, so if you're interested let me know

    i pick up a used D44a with disc brakes to swap onto my yj. i dont know if im going to use it or not anymore so let me know if you need it. ask if you have any questions about the axle etc..
