There is not an air pump on this engine. Thanks, it has been a long time since I took this thing apart. Just need these hoses connected properly and the wiring harness installed and hopefully it will start!!! Keep your fingers crossed.

Ok, here are some wider pics of the manifold where these connections are located. A lot of what you have all suggested is very helpful. I will be trying to go connection by connection and see if I can't get everything hooked up properly.

Thanks for the info. Do the bolts actually rest in the bracket? Do the brackets bear weight? In the pics it looks as if the brackets are tilted back just slightly so they are not vertically straight, is that correct?

I have a rear fold and tumble seat as well as the brackets for my '79 CJ-7. My question is where do the side panel brackets go in the back? How do you go about getting them into the correct position? I don't want to drill holes and be wrong! Thanks in advance for the input. :???:
