Well my 4wd isn't workin, I jacked up all four tires and in 4L the front tires don't turn, the front driveline spins and locks up fine, I plan on checking the axle shafts first, any other ideas? Never done it before

I got my 91 XJ about a year ago and its been awesome, but I need to swap out my front ring & pinion from a 3.55 to a 3.73 to match my rear 8.8 ford axle. Should I attempt it? Or take it in the shop? I already bought some Yukon 3.73's. Ive taken off my diff. cover to replace the oil and stuff but...
