RE: NJ inspection, Failed again! what are your thoughts on a dodge miltary front dana 60? are they just as good as chevy or ford dana 60's? i am still unsure whether it is a high pinion or low pinion axle or the spline count but i should know later tonight...i am just looking for some opinions...

My buddy's YJ peugot transmission is stuck in 5 gear..here is the situation the shifter broke cause soemone did a crappy job welding in an extension into the shifter( done when the body lift was added)....anyway he pulled the shifter out of the transmission to have it welds...got it welded and...

FYI. Law in Florida says you can take the doors off. a buddy of mine has a t-18 out of a 79 cj...how can i tell if it has the granny low gear of 6.?? instead of the 4.??.....thanks guys...

ok guys...i installed a AA SYE and made a spare driveshaft out of a cheerokee front shaft. this is only intended to be my trail spare and is a little too short but will work to get me home. So i have to measure for a tom woods rear drive shaft.. is it center cap to center cap? does it matter...

ok so the spline on my Jeep YJ's front driveshaft is worn out. i can wiggle it back and forth quite a bit. My question is "will this hurt anything in my dana 44 diff at low speed wheeling? i am not concerned about breaking the drive shaft but i am concerned about breaking my pinion! does...

i am looking into getting a cheerokee Front DS to shorten for the rear of my YJ. my question is how does the cv joint on the cherokee shaft mate up to the t-case? does it use a flange or u-joints and straps? i have never seen a front cherokee drive shaft so i have no idea. thanks! :D
