Does a 2004 Liberty have a cabin air filter? I inquired at NAPA, they didn't have it, said it might be a dealer part. I have since checked several auto parts company sites, only O'Reillys has a listing but it says "not required on your vehicle." :???:

I was told by the Service Manager that to flush, change filter, fluid, etc. would actually shorten the life of the auto trans/4WD in my 2004 Jeep Liberty, 6cyl, 109,000 miles, since I hadn't done it before. This defies common sense. True? Why?
